Ayurveda Retreat on the Himalaya plus the 5 in one program

With Ulrich Freitag and the team of the Ayurveda Hospital and Retreat Center

I would like to invite you to a retreat journey that I undertook myself two years ago -and as someone who has learned and taught Bodymind therapy for over 40 years, I truly enjoyed it.

This experience – whether as time for a personal ‘reset’ with real relaxation and ‘cleansing’ and/or for health reasons – I would like to make accessible to others as well.

To make this inner and outer journey even more effective, we have incorporated four additional therapeutic approaches along with Ayurveda. Therefore, the retreat offers the most comprehensive program in complementary medicine and therapy that we currently know of to become ‘healthy and whole’ again.

The retreat itself takes place in the Himalayas, at the Haidakhan Babaji Hospital and Retreat Center, which has been awarded multiple excellence prizes by the Indian state. It is a truly spiritual environment with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

You can utilize this privileged time according to your needs: to relax deeply, to have a true ‘reset’ experience, to care for your health and well-being at your own pace, to indulge yourself with massages and treatments, or to embark on a deep healing journey that can include emotional release, daily yoga, and meditation – all paired with beautiful walks and the small and large surprises of life around you.

In addition to the 21-day Panchkarma Ayurveda retreat with an extraordinary team, you have access

  • to the diagnosis and medicine from Tibetan doctors in Delhi
  • psychosomatic therapy (emotional work + deep tissue massage + deep acupressure + Chinese medicine)
  • health check and treatment based on the computerized diagnosis for Russian astronauts
  • psychic heart readings that provide deep insights into health and life issues.
  • daily yoga and meditations
  • heart meditations… and a ‘puja’ – a spiritual Hindu ceremony – once a week.

At the end of the Ayurvedic retreat, we will spend 3 days near the Binsar National Wildlife Park for integration, exploration, hikes, and joy before returning to Delhi.

Our journey begins in Delhi – at the beautiful World Buddhist Meditation Center – where we will be greeted by Monk Tashi and feel right at home – and in the Tibetan Quarter with a visit to the Tibetan doctors.

At the end of our journey, we will stay for 3 days close to the Binsar national parc and return with a nice train ride ‘through India’ back to Delhi for 2 days to revisit the Tibetan doctors, explore the  Tibetan quarter, and have time for shopping before heading back to our country.

Price: 2750€ all-inclusive in a double room. (Various categories of quality and price, single occupancy also available), internat. flight extra

An Early bird special with a reduction of 350E will be available for the first 4 insriptions.

We are pleased to have a conversation with you to see if this journey meets your needs and interests.

Excerpt from Chapter 1

The Eternal Wisdom of India

When people in the West seek for the deeper meaning to Life, they make the mistake of assuming all religions are some variation of Christianity.
But the spiritual Traditions that come from India are drastically different to Judaism,
Christianity and Islam in how they practice, yet there is a common substratum that
underpins them all.

The most common assumption is that religious people believe in God.
Belief means to put your faith in something you don’t know is true.
If I ask you “do you believe the Sun exists?”
You will reply, “no! It is more than that!
I see it everyday and feel its warmth!”

The Indian traditions speak of something INTRINSIC to you and help you discover and experience this.
Yogis are not believers!
They are seeking an experience of the Divine.
They aspire to become KNOWERS of the deepest Truth of Life.
They know there is no God in the sky.

That is why I call it a wisdom tradition …. there are layers and layers to this, which may reveal themselves to you when you are sincerely seeking.
It is an organic, flowing, living river of wisdom, of seekers and finders, and of great Souls who have reached God realisation and left a message for us.

This is an experience of Life that is available to every human being, whether you are an atheist, a religious person, or simply on your own personal spiritual path.

You don’t have to believe anything.
You just have to see a different way of looking at life.

“God is the beauty and force of Life itself.
God is Mother Nature.
I am born from Mother Nature.
Mother Nature is my Mother.
God is my Mother.
Life literally physically gives birth to us.
We are made of the five elements.  Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Space.
When we breathe, we breathe life in …. and out ….
The Whole Universe is connected to itself.
The more we realise our connection, the less problems we experience in Life.
Differences between races and religions fall away as we realise we are all just different versions of Life – in different shapes and form and sizes.
With this way of life, we and GOD are connected.
God is no longer a man with a white beard in the sky!”
– Satpal Singh on explaining the wisdom traditions of India.

A deep reverence for life takes hold, when we realise that all living things have this same God force making them alive.
With this way of looking at life, we become protectors of Life and Mother Nature.
That is why we stop praying and start praising.

It’s about spending your whole life in appreciation for what life is.
